THE STORY

I work in banking and studied finance, but art has always been there, like a quiet thorn I could never ignore. Since I was a child I’ve been drawn to painting, design, furniture, clothes: anything made with intention.

Three years ago I decided to follow that pull. I painted for a year in Madrid and began to sell my work. Then life took me to New York, where I spent two years surrounded by artists and galleries. That time deepened my desire to keep learning, exploring and improvising on the canvas.

I mostly paint with acrylic on canvas, where I feel most at ease. I rarely start with a plan. I like to improvise and feel free, letting color and expression carry my thoughts in a subtle way, without being too explicit about what I want to say. I’d rather leave room for the viewer to find their own meaning.

I love mixing very different colors and then finding the harmony between them. For me, each painting is a reflection of who I am: many emotions and thoughts that come together in harmony and move in one direction.
